GOOD VIBES

Notting Hill Carnival returned on the weekend for the first time in two years! The atmosphere and energy in London was electric, with all the people dancing in the streets, eating good food and enjoying the celebratory vibes with their loved ones. I partied hard! I moved my hips, wore flat shoes and (thankfully) lined my stomach with delicious Caribbean cuisine so that the Jamaican white rum didn’t hit me too hard! I hope everyone else enjoyed an incredible weekend – bring on next year!

THINKING OF OWAMI

Last week, it was confirmed that Owami Davies had thankfully been found alive and well in Hampshire, after having been missing since 7 July. Like many, I’m relieved the student nurse is safe, but I’m equally concerned about the inconsistent information the police gave out during the period of her disappearance.
