Arguably the biggest night on any musician’s calendar, The Grammy Awards returned for its 66th year on Sunday 4 February. The glittering event took place at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena to recognise the very best in the industry over the past year.
Reprising his role for the fourth time as show host was comedian Trevor Noah, who oversaw proceedings while the hottest names in music flocked to the coveted red carpet to strike a pose in their show-stopping outfits.
And show-stopping was certainly the correct description for Miley Cyrus, who wore not one, but five ensembles throughout the night. Posing on the red carpet, the Flowers singer, who later won her first Grammy award, donned a gown made entirely of 14,000 gold safety pins.
She then changed into a glittery silver cut-out number while performing on stage, shortly after winning the Record Of The Year gong in a one-shoulder Gucci gown. But it was Miley’s hair that really grabbed attention, as her chocolate locks were styled in a retro bouffant – making them the statement piece of her multiple looks.
Miley joined stars such as Dua Lipa, Travis Scott, Tracy Chapman, Joni Mitchell and Luke Combs in performing for the room of A-listers throughout the evening – which was dominated by female winners.
Another name who took charge of not only the carpet, but the show itself, was Taylor Swift, who made history with her wins. Arriving at the event, Taylor posed up a storm in a white corseted Schiaparelli gown, which she paired with black satin opera gloves.
