Natasha Hamilton is remarkably relaxed considering that her baby girl is due any day now. Glowing with health and full of energy, the Atomic Kitten star is taking pregnancy in her stride and isn’t fazed in the slightest about the impending birth. But then, this is Natasha’s fifth baby, so she knows the drill.
“I’ve had an amazing pregnancy,” she says. “It’s been very laid-back and has brought about a new calmness. My husband can’t believe how Zen I’ve been!
“I think being in a really happy place in my life and marriage has helped. When I was younger, things were a lot more chaotic.
“This time it’s been a beautiful experience right the way through and I’d say my most enjoyable pregnancy of them all.”
While this baby is Natasha’s fifth – she’s also mum to Josh, 20, Harry, 18, Alfie, 13, and eight-year-old Ella – it’s her first with her husband Charles Gay, 37, a fashion brand director.
They started dating in 2016 and married two years ago in the stunning Italian resort of Lake Como.
They are blissfully happy and their much-wanted baby girl will put the icing on the cake. Natasha, 41, reveals she is to be named after two very special women.
“We’re going to call her Kitty Iris Gay,” she says. “Kitty has nothing to do with the band! My grandmother was Kitty and Charles’s grandmother was Iris and we just loved those names together. They’re quite old-fashioned but there’s also a newness to them – they’re unusual and so cute.
