THE last time Taylor Swift threw a star-studded party at her eightbedroom Watch Hill, R.I., estate, she celebrated the Fourth of July with a group of single girlfriends.

It was the summer of 2023, and the Grammy winner was licking her wounds after ending a six-year romance with actor Joe Alwyn, 33, that spring, which she followed with a rebound romance with The 1975 singer Matty Healy, 35.

"Happy belated Independence Day from your local neighborhood independent girlies," the singer captioned a series of snaps with pals, including Selena Gomez, 32, and the Haim sisters, Este, 38, Danielle, 35, and Alana, 32.

What a difference a year makes. As the world has since learned, weeks after that holiday bash, Taylor reached out to three-time Super Bowl champ Travis Kelce after he publicly declared on his New Heights podcast that he wanted to give her a friendship bracelet with his number on it.

After a series of secret dates, they fell hard and fast. By the time Taylor threw her next party at Holiday House the weekend of Aug. 24-the shift in her life was clear: Instead of solo girlies, the guest list was packed with committed couples and their children, and the guy Tay's friends are convinced she'll marry was by her side.

"Travis has been planning to propose for a while, it's just a matter of finding the right moment," a source tells Star. "He spoke to her parents to get their blessing and swore them to secrecy."
