From gang girl to mamfundisi! Nosipho and Pastor Gwala's wedding day is finally here, so RSVP for drama.

It's been a rocky engagement road for Nosipho (Nompilo Maphumulo) and Pastor Gwala (Menzi Biyela) ever since Gwala proposed in October 2022: Nosipho found out she's pregnant by her ex, Mondli (Thembinkosi Thwala); Pastor Gwala's teenaged son Nkazimulo (Tsepo Doncabe) stole their lobola money and has been giving future stepmom Nosipho the permanent cold-shoulder; then there's constant drama with Nkunzi Mhlongo (Masoja Msiza), who's both Gwala's biological father and Nosipho's former evil stepfather.

Nonetheless, the couple is planning to tie the knot just one day before Valentine's Day... they'll just have to pass the ultimate stress test first. Wedding preparations are always chaotic, and when you have a problematic relative like Nosipho's uncle Mkhonto Xulu (Bonga Dlamini), and a family that feasts on drama like the Mhlongos, things are bound to escalate...

"The preparations don't go well because Mkhonto is difficult. He refuses to acknowledge the Mhlongo family [pastor Gwala's biological family, and Nosipho's step-family] during the negotiations. The issue of Nosipho being pregnant is also a hindrance," Nompilo says.

Menzi adds, "Pastor Gwala wanted to be part of the preparations, but when everyone else got involved, he realized he didn't have much of a say. He wanted things to go smoothly so he could walk into the sunset with his bride, so he decided to back off."

NKAZIMULO'S TURNAROUND

With just one week to go until the wedding, Nkazimulo finally turns over a new leaf and he agrees to give Nosipho a chance and work on their relationship. He even makes breakfast for Nosipho and his dad to congratulate them on the big step they are about to take.
