Following the success of latest instalment, Downton Abbey: A New Era, in 2022, a seventh series of the show may not be far away. "There is a plan which is in development and there is a lot of excitement about," a source told the Mail Online.

It was a scene that could have been easily mistaken for the set of the period drama Downton Abbey, as the cast of the hit show reunited at St. Nicholas’ Church in West London on September 23 – except for the modern clothes and inclusion of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, that is. But instead of filming, the star-studded group was actually gathered together to celebrate the marriage of Michelle Dockery to the Fleabag star’s little brother, Jasper Waller-Bridge.
