Reese Witherspoon Ready to love again?

AFTER A SECOND ‘DIFFICULT’ DIVORCE, THE ACTRESS IS LOOKING AHEAD TO A BRIGHT NEW CHAPTER IN HER LIFE

She’s used to having her love life play out on the big screen, but away from the cameras, Reese Witherspoon has felt the narrative around her relationships has been largely out of her hands.

That is until earlier this year, when she was able to announce her second divorce to the world, in her own time and in her own words – something she admits has been an empowering thing.

“To be able to talk to people directly about what’s going on in my life and just share it in the way that I share great professional experiences or personal experiences, it feels much more authentic to be able to say things in my own voice and not let somebody else control what's happening." Witherspoon told Harper's Bazaar of her March split from Jim Toth.

In stark contrast to her first divorce, from fellow actor Ryan Phillippe in 2008, the actress felt completely in control of the story surrounding her and Toth's separation. The pair informed the public about their "difficult decision" via social media, which wasn't even around when she was a younger first-time divorcee!
