After two seasons of The Block, Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie could design, paint and style a room with their eyes closed. But it’s the couple’s extensive expertise in real estate that made them the perfect candidates to host the rebooted lifestyle series, Location, Location, Location. Having bought, renovated and sold over 20 properties, the charismatic duo have certainly been around the block when it comes to real estate. And now, they’re helping others find their dream homes, whether they are first-time buyers, purchasing a family fortress or downsizing for retirement.

“I think we kind of figured what we could bring [to the show] is people knew us from our experiences, obviously through The Block – that was around design and making things look good, but a lot of people probably didn’t realise that we had a lot of experience buying and selling property,” McKie tells WHO of their new gig. “We understand real estate. We’ve bought and sold, we’ve been in auctions, we’ve been outbid at auctions, we’ve won at auctions and we’ve done post-auction negotiations. All those things that maybe people didn’t see on The Block.”
