Harry & Meghan Want Their Own Talk Show

Move over, Kelly and Mark! Looks like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are heading to daytime TV

From Mariah Carey to Paris Hilton, Meghan Markle has interviewed dozens of celebrities on her podcast, Archetypes. “I’m not a journalist,” she explained last summer when she started the project, “but I want a candid, real conversation with them.”

And now she wants to expand those conversations to include her husband — on TV. Prince Harry, 38, and Meghan, 41, “are in negotiations to do their own talk show, similar to Live with Kelly and Ryan,” a source tells In Touch. It’s all part of their Netflix deal. “They’re hoping to give the show a fun atmosphere, like an intimate dinner party, but also touch on serious subjects. They’re planning to launch something within the next year.”

Meghan will be a natural. “Obviously, she was an actress, so she knows what makes interesting TV, and the podcast has really prepared her for working on her interviewing style and steering the conversation,” says the source. “Plus, she’s incredibly opinionated and is always down for a debate.”
