Paddy makes a desperate decision, leaving his loved ones in turmoil

Paddy’s friends and family are full of relief when he turns up at The Woolpack this week, having been AWOL for over a fortnight.

Little do they realise, however, that he doesn’t intend on sticking around. At rock bottom following his split from Chas and, previous to that, the heartbreaking death of their newborn baby daughter Grace, the struggling vet has decided to see his loved ones one last time… and then take his own life.
