They work together, cook together, live together and now culinary couple John Torode and Lisa Faulkner have another collaboration to celebrate: writing their first cookbook together! 'It's been a joy,' says actor, presenter and home cook Lisa, 52, of the care and love they've lavished on the recently released tome, John & Lisa's Kitchen. 'We've had books of our own before, but it's so nice to have something that's both of ours, that reflects both our cooking. I feel very happy that we enjoy working together as much as we do."

'Yeah, it helps that we like each other!' grins MasterChef judge John, 59, who tied the knot with Lisa in October 2019, having met on the 2010 edition of BBC1's Celebrity MasterChef, which Lisa won.

The new book ties in rather nicely with the return of their popular ITV1 cookery showcase John and Lisa's Weekend Kitchen for a ninth season this week, and the latest run will see them dish up more mouth-watering meal ideas while sharing time-saving tricks.

And as the pair join TV Times for an exclusive photo shoot and interview, they can't wait to share what's on the menu this time...

LISA I know, I know. People have constantly asked us to do a cookbook together and we wanted to, but we were both so busy. Finally, the stars aligned and it's here!
