Having tried in vain to bury her trauma, Lydia Dingle finally crumbles this week and reveals that she was raped by Craig. Employer and friend Kim Tate is the person she confides in, and that’s a wise choice if you ask us.

The women may live on different sides of the tracks, but Kim has always had Lydia’s back. She’s also unlikely to let Craig’s crime go unpunished – although, for Lydia’s sake, we’d prefer her not to call up one of the many hitmen she has on speed dial.
