When Stu confided in Yasmeen that he had a daughter, Bridget, whom he'd not seen for donkey's years, it was inevitable that we'd be meeting the woman before the summer was out.

This week, the Captain Birdseye of Weatherfield finally claps eyes on his offspring and, in the process, it transpires he has a rather large skeleton rattling around in his closet.

Stu previously wrote off his quest to reconnect with Bridget when he discovered she'd moved house, but Yasmeen has gone all Agatha Christie and located her new address.

The chef is furious that she's gone behind his back, but after a talking-to from Kelly, he decides to head over to Bridget's abode.
