When Paul O’Grady sadly passed away in March, many were left heartbroken, not least the staff at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, whose animals he worked so hard to rehome.

And this episode of For the Love of Dogs, which was filmed last year, showcases the late entertainer’s compassion, especially when he met Murphy, a spaniel who was found tied up and was suffering from mange and scabies.
