Although predator Nathan Curtis has been jailed for Lauren's murder, her real aggressor, solicitor Joel Deering, is walking free.

And having proposed to Dee-Dee, strengthening his good-guy image, Joel is now sniffing around the local young ladies in plain sight.

But behind the scenes, things are starting to unravel.

DS Swain's found out Nathan received a bung to stop him revealing who attacked him, and has questioned Sarah, who paid off her daughter Bethany's abuser.

This week, Gary, who funded the bribe, is brought in for questioning... Armed with his incriminating bank statements, will he confess he attacked Nathan, too? 'With Lauren, Swain is not satisfied yet,' says Vicky Myers, who plays the cop.
