On 14 April 1984, the lifeless body of a newborn baby boy, known only as John', was found on a beach in County Kerry, Ireland. He'd been stabbed and his neck was broken.

A murder investigation was launched that led to the arrest of 25-year-old single mum, Joanne Hayes. She admitted she'd recently given birth to a baby who'd died and that she'd buried the body in secret on the family farm.
