THE FIRST DAY OF MOHAN RAKESH NATYA SAMAROH REFLECTS UPON THE LIFE PREMCHAND

New Delhi: January 10, 2023- The Delhi Government's art and culture arm, Sahitya Kala Parishad is back with Mohan Rakesh Natya Samaroh, The festival started on January 10, 2023, showcased Shri Ram Sharma Kapren's Dhanpati Nawab Se Prem directed by Surender Sharma.

The audience was moved by the play and bestowed praise on the writer. The four-day long festival will continue till January 13, 2023. A tribute to theatrical veteran Mohan Rakesh, the festival will have Dr. Pratibha Jain's Mahasharman Chandragupta Maurya on the second day. Bharti Sharma will direct the third winning play. On the third day, Shri Dayanand Sharma's Ishq Samandar, directed by Ayaz Khan, will take the stage. On the last day of the festival, the first prize winner - Shri Rajesh Kumar's Nishabd will be presented by Lokendra Trivedi as director. These top four artists were selected from the Mohan Rakesh Natya Lekan Competition and will be published in the book 'Natya Taranga' by Sahitya Kala Parishad.
