Such an honour to have you on Muscle & Fitness Hers, everyone has their own special story about how they got involved in health and fitness. Could you tell us a little bit about your journey to where you are today?
Thank you, it is wonderful to be here! My fitness journey began as a desire to feel stronger and healthier. I started to go for a run a few times per week and the sense of accomplishment I felt after each run was addictive. Over time, I started incorporating strength training and yoga, and that is when I realized fitness is not just a hobby for me, but a passion. But still, of course there are days when I prefer to stay on that comfy couch instead of going for a run:)
What is your typical workout routine?
My workout routine is tailored to balance strength, endurance, and mobility. Currently, I split my strength training into upper body, lower body, and full body sessions throughout the week. I also include two days of cardio, typically running, swimming or cycling. To maintain flexibility, I incorporate yoga into my routine at least twice a week. Usually, I do my training after work, however, in summer, I often enjoy getting up early and going for a run before it is too hot.
