SHARING HER FITNESS JOURNEY TAMARA PATRICE

Such an honor to have you on Muscle & Fitness Hers, everyone has their own special story about how they got involved in health and fitness. Could you tell us a little bit about your journey to where you are today? I discovered my love for fitness about 15 years ago. I stepped up my game in 2010 when I began training with a Team out of Long Beach Ca which helped me grow not only physically but mentally. My first year on the team I competed in four shows placing in the top five in my class. I quailed in my second show for nationals which I also competed in my first year. My philosophy goes beyond how to lose weight and build muscles. I push limits! Every time I'm in the gym I maximize my fitness potential. I do whatever it takes to produce the difference between average and extraordinary. I continue to evolve and grow as an individual, a mom, a business professional, and a wife. My drastic change in Lifestyle and decision to become a personal trainer is to be a positive role model by motivating others to see through their own barriers, to drive, to succeed to and get results.

What is your typical workout routine? I'm a full-body workout type of person. I'm all for certain areas such as my calves may need more work, but I like to work my entire body to get maximum results.
