 LGTBQ+ Advocate & Author Calls Attention to Hardships Faced by the LGBTQ+ Community

According to NBC, The Department of Homeland Security has recently issued a domestic terror threat warning to LGBTQ communities, calling attention to the higher risk to this community. After recent events such as the targeted Club Q shooting in Colorado Springs and hateful rhetoric aimed at marginalized communities, it’s no surprise that so many members of the LGTBQ+ community feel unsafe in their communities nationwide.
