IN TRUTH, there is luxury in freedom, yet most men consider freedom a luxury unto itself. These words come to mind when I consider Hermès's spring/summer 2025 collection that exhales the fresh breath of coastal seas. There's a fleeting lightness to summer breezes between leather sandals and pleated trousers, hazy prints and shiny, shimmering silks.
The Hermès man is contemporary, and there is serious charm in the simplicity that the maison adopts in its craft. This season sees a relaxed silhouette: loose blousons that drape the body; straight trousers with wide legs; and see-through shirts with scooping necklines. All crafted with ease of movement in mind, which is essential for beachwear.
