On a pleasant evening in November, designer Sanjay Garg took his jeweltoned ensembles and imagined a show against the iconic establishment in the presence of Ahmedabad’s Kanoria Centre for Arts’ Founder Urmila Kanoria. The collaborative show, with the magical pieces from Aurus Jewels, breathed new life into the unassumingly breathtaking silhouettes that Garg is known for. Puja and Kunal Shah, founders of Aurus, saw this as an opportunity to marry the aesthetics that they stand for—one that rediscovers heritage designs with a global worldview. The show celebrated Raw Mango’s 15th anniversary with a juxtaposition of the shifts that the brand has seen over the years.
