With the wide variety of beauty products available in the market these days, it's not uncommon for many of us to fill a drawer (or two) with serums, moisturisers and other grooming essentials that we love.
Then, there are those who have a dedicated closet or an entire shelf of their precious skincare and makeup that they're proud to show their friends in real life as well as on social media. Here are three such women whose obsession with beauty has caught our attention.
LEANNE HO (@LOVEFORSKINCARE), CONTENT CREATOR
Leanne boasts a 65K-strong following on social media. Her Instagram handle is a testament to her love for, well, skincare. Over the years, she has also amassed a sizable SK-II Facial Treatment Essence collection to rival any department store counter.
It was during her days as a member of Singapore Airlines' cabin crew that Leanne's passion for beauty started. Back then, when she travelled to a new destination, she would seek beauty recommendations from her senior colleagues.
"I still remember the day when I walked into the first Sephora store I saw in Paris," she recounts. She walked out with half a dozen cleansers from French beauty brand Clarins. While taking a break from work, Leanne began taking photos of some beauty products that she loved and sharing them with her sisters. They then suggested that she start an Instagram account and, over time, her following grew.
Now, as a beauty influencer, Leanne tries countless beauty products regularly, but the transformative powers of a particular product will always have a special place in her heart. "There was a time when I had acne, and I was looking for something that could help to clear it," she shares. "Nothing seemed to work, until a beauty adviser passed me a sample of SK-II Pitera Essence."
