Hyundai Motor Company and Kia Corporation have introduced the X-ble Shoulder, a pioneering wearable robot designed to revolutionize industrial labor by augmenting human capability and minimizing physical strain.

The X-ble Shoulder is engineered to assist workers engaged in overhead tasks, where arms are frequently elevated. By enhancing upper arm muscle strength, it alleviates the burden on the musculoskeletal system, reducing shoulder load by up to 60% and decreasing anterior and lateral deltoid muscle activity by up to 30%.
