BEST MATES PEGGY THE POOCH AND MOLLY THE MAGPIE HAVE A SPECIAL BOND

They’re as different as can be, but magpie Molly and English Staffordshire bull terrier Peggy are inseparable.

Their unusual friendship began back in September 2020 when Molly was found close to death after being abandoned by her bird parents.

It was Peggy and her owners, Juliette Wells and Reece Mortensen, who nursed the bird back to health.

“She would have fallen from the nest, and they abandoned her, which can happen,” Juliette explains. “We waited for hours but they never came down.”
