MONIQUE WANTS OTHERS TO TRY THE NEW CRAZE AND IT’S IN YOUR GARDEN!

Fruits of the forest IT'S A DEEPLY HEALING PLACE'

Professional forest bathing guide Monique Ross is used to people turning up for one of her walks with their swimmers.

But surprisingly, there's no actual bathing involved in this immersive experience.

Forest bathing, or Shinrin-yoku, originated in Japan in the 1980s.

The idea is to 'bathe in nature' as you connect -with the environment, you relax and slow down.

"It sounds a bit woowoo but it's an evidencebased, scientifically backed practice," Monique, 38, tells New Idea.
