A PUBLICITY PUSH IS DOING LITTLE TO QUASH RUMOURS

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were once so in sync that the duchess described them as "like salt and pepper - we always move together". But no amount of saccharine superlatives have been enough to quell the constant rumours that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage is on the rocks.

Despite a very public and highly choreographed pretaped video of the couple making calls on behalf of a charity last week – and a puff piece about their relationship on the cover of People magazine dropping the same day – insiders continue to question whether the couple will indeed last the distance.

Many sources also suspect that Harry’s not happy in California, where he often cuts a solitary figure on Santa Barbara beaches with his labrador, Pula.

He has several solo overseas trips on his slate, including polo gigs in Singapore and Japan this month. There are also tentative plans to travel to his beloved Africa to film a documentary once the Hollywood actors’ and writers’ strike ceases.
