H. MOSER & CIE. CEO Edouard Meylan talks to FLOREY D MIKIL about the limited-edition Cortina Watch 50th Anniversary Endeavour Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton

FOR THE CELEBRATION OF SUCH A MOMENTOUS MILESTONE, only a remarkable timepiece would do justice, and the Cortina Watch 50th Anniversary Endeavour Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton is precisely the perfect watch. As its name dictates, it was created in commemoration of the luxury watch retailer's golden anniversary. Its unique and striking aesthetic is, unsurprisingly, the brainchild of H. Moser & Cie.

The independent Swiss watch brand, with its knack for producing out-of-the-box, highly innovative designs, fittingly crafted the 42 mm, timekeeper, from 18-karat red gold. We find out more about the watch during our sitdown with Edouard Meylan, CEO of H. Moser & Cie., on his recent visit to Malaysia. While his brand's exclusive partnership with Cortina Watch begun in 2019, Meylan shares that his family's relationship with the retailer goes back two generations, as his father Georges-Henri Meylan previously worked with founder Anthony Lim. This certainly gives Meylan a better perspective and further insight on how to create the perfect watch for the semicentennial celebration.
