Lyly Mitchell and Ben Teoh's love story began at New York University, a tale of friendship that transcended the ordinary. "Our first conversation lasted eight hours," Mitchell reminisces.

That night, a connection was sparked, a flame of friendship that neither expected nor rushed to turn into love. "We didn't rush into dating," Teoh recalls. "There was a beauty in the patience we had, an effortlessness in our friendship that we cherished and wanted to savour." Their love story is a testament to the beauty of a slow-burning romance.

Until one day at The Flower NYC, a shop where he'd ordered Mitchell's favourite arrangements every Valentine's Day and birthday, Teoh orchestrated a gentle surprise, honouring the quiet tradition they had built. "He told me we were going to a honey farm," Mitchell shares. "Instead, we ended up at this flower shop I'd never been to but knew so well." With a bouquet in hand, she recalls realising, "I knew what was happening." That same night, their family and friends appeared to celebrate with the newly engaged couple.
