Patek Philippe world-timers often feature maps in Grand Feu cloisonne enamel. Housed in a 38.5mm white gold case, the Ref. 5231G World Time Rare Handcrafts is decorated with an image of South-east Asia and Oceania. To create it, the artisan forms an outline with gold wire, before filling the compartments with various enamel colours, while repeatedly firing the dial plate at high temperatures.

Reflecting Chopard’s commitment to the environment, the Happy Sport Metiers d’Art Polar Bear Edition celebrates one of the world’s biggest bears. Set with diamonds and clutching a pear-shaped diamond, the polar bear moves freely within a 40mm rose gold case. Its icy environment is depicted by an opal dial, as well as textured mother-of-pearl and invisible-set, triangle-cut diamonds.
