How did you come up with the inspiration for it?

As artistic director of the Hatfield House Chamber Music Festival, what have you got up your sleeve this year? This year, we’ve gone for a combination of traditional programmes with something quite different! So, for instance, we’ve got the bandoneon player JP Jofre coming from Argentina, the guitarist Morgan Szymanski from Mexico, Nirmala Rajasekar, an Indian veena player, and Lodestar, a Scandinavian folk trio. In what is a bit of an experiment, we’re mixing the groups up in concert, which should be quite a change for our audiences!
