"My sisters took me and one of my friends to see Busted at Wembley when I was really young, and it was incredible. I ended up getting a tie from the merch stand, which I actually still have somewhere. On our latest album we worked with Charlie Simpson, which took me back to those days. When I was younger, I'd go to school with all of Charlie's different hairstyles, so working with him is something that I've wanted to do for an incredibly long time."

"In school I had numerous classes where I should have been doing the work that was assigned to me, but instead I was writing away. I didn't even think of them as lyrics at the time, I was just writing things out. There was a big stage where I really wanted to be Eminem, so I'd always be scribbling down little phrases. The first real song I ever wrote was 'Sycamore Tree', which was on The Hunna's first album. I'd written it years before the band was even a thing, back when I was a teenager. It was nice that it got its time to shine on that album, especially as it was my mum's favourite song."
