The 25-year-old was left in a coma in November 2022 after colliding with a perimeter wall at the Bristol End at Twerton Park, causing a match against Dulwich Hamlet to be abandoned.
Fletcher was discharged from hospital a month later and had to learn to walk again.
He was left deaf in one ear following the accident but having worked his way back to full fitness, he was given a shortterm contract for the start of the 2023/24 campaign.
The former Plymouth Argyle youngster returned to playing in August 2023 before departing the club three months later for Weston-super-Mare.
