KIDDY BREAK DROUGHT BUT STILL DENIED A HOME WIN!

Joe Leesley gave the Harriers an 18th minute lead – their first goal on home turf since returning to NonLeague’s top flight – but Ethan Ebanks-Landell levelled the scores with 15 minutes left.

“It was our best first 60 minutes of the season so far,” admitted Harriers boss Russ Penn. “I thought there was great quality in the game bearing in mind the heat.

“I’m just really disappointed we didn’t finish the game off. We’re struggling to know how to win games. There were lots of pleasing things today, but I’m also disappointed.

“We took the game to a very good team who have dropped out of the League. There were some outstanding individual performances.”
