HUNGERFORD Town boss Danny Robinson has hailed the current crop as the best squad heâs assembled in four years at Bulpit Lane.
The 38-year-old was forced to rebuild from scratch after relegation from National League South in 2023 left him with just three players on the books.
But after retaining the bulk of last seasonâs squad, Robinson is hopeful that this yearâs additions will thrust the Crusaders into the promotion race after a disappointing eighth-place finish.
âItâs a massive difference from last season,â he admits. âAt this stage, we still only had three players. Now weâve got a squad of 23 that we feel will push us on and get us where we want to be.
