
The Australian flyer has opened up on a difficult few weeks, which has seen him leave his home on the Channel Island and live out of a suitcase, jumping from hotel to hotel.
But he’s already enjoying being part of the Leicester set-up, and after being made to feel welcome by head coach, and fellow Aussie, Dan McKellar, below, the 26-year-old is feeling upbeat.
Woollett told The Rugby Paper: “There’s a few Aussies here, and when Dan gave me a call, we spoke about a few things back home, he had previously watched me play years ago in the Shute Shield in Sydney, so knew of me, and seen my progress since then which was really nice.
