The State Food and Drugs Control Administration has reported significant progress in the initiative 'Food Safety Fortnight', which was held from October 3 to 17 and extended until October 25. During this period, the department conducted 175 raids, resulting in the seizure of 260 tonnes of suspicious food items worth Rs 7.3 crore.
