The city crime branch's investigation into the Khyati Multispecialty Hospital deaths is intensifying. Four health department officials were summoned for questioning on Friday, with another called in on Saturday.
Information revealed during questioning and from the documents provided shows that Khyati hospital conducted over 1,500 operations under the PMJAY (Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana) in the past three years. These included angioplasties, knee and hip replacements and surgeries for various other ailments and are now under scrutiny.
