NO MODIFYING CARS WITH AFTERMARKET WHITE LED LIGHTS

Crackdown begins in Ahmedabad from Monday

Starting Monday, the city traffic police will be cracking down on car owners who have installed aftermarket white LED headlights. This move follows a directive from the Gujarat Transport Department, which had earlier prohibited the installation of such lights on vehicles.

Modifying a car with powerful LED white headlamps is an offence under Section 177 of the Motor Vehicle Act. The police are now set to take strict action against those who have made such modifications to their vehicles.
