Several instances have come to light where private motorcycles with white number plates are registered on the mobile applications of bike taxi service companies.
White plates signal danger
It is important to note vehicles with white number plates are prohibited for two-wheeler taxi services. Several autorickshaw associations have filed formal complaints with the Transport Department and the RTO office regarding this illegal practice.
