SIR Chris Hoy said he was feeling "strong" as he thanked the public for their messages of support after revealing he has terminal cancer.

The Olympic cycling legend, who won six gold medals and a silver for Team GB, says doctors have told him he has between two and four years to live.

Sir Chris, currently in Copen-hagen as part of the BBC team commentating on the Track Cycling World Champion-ships, took to Insta-gram to thank people for their well-wishes.
