A POLICE marksman shot Chris Kaba dead as he believed that "one or many" police officers might be killed as the rapper attempted to escape at "any cost", a court was told.
Martyn Blake shot him in the head through the windscreen of an Audi in Streatham, South London.
Blake claimed Mr Kaba had tried to escape by driving forwards then back into a police car that had blocked him in. The Audi's registration had been linked to reports of gunshots in Brixton the night before in September 2022, Old Bailey jurors heard.
