A firearms officer from Greater Manchester Police was suspended after a video emerged appearing to show the man named locally as Mohammed Fahir Khan being kicked and stamped on by a male officer holding a Taser on Tuesday.

The injured man's solicitor, Akhmed Yakoob, said his client's condition had "worsened" since Wednesday night, with a CT scan finding a cyst on his brain.

He said Fahir's brother Amaad and 56-year-old mother were also allegedly assaulted at the airport.

The two men had gone to terminal two to meet their mother, who had flown in from Pakistan, he said.
