Jersey detective returns... and so does his car

THE Jersey scenery, the crime, the complicated private life... and, of course, the car.

No reboot of Bergerac would be complete without the detective's iconic burgundy Triumph Roadster.

Damien Molony, who steps into the shoes of John Nettles in the title role, has also had a go in his car.

The Ripper Street star, 40, said: "I've had the best time stepping into the role of Jim Bergerac - I've even had the privilege of getting behind the wheel of the iconic Triumph Roadster.
