HE THINKS IT'S BULL OVER...

MAX VERSTAPPEN has admitted Red Bull's days of dominance are behind them after they failed to live up to the hype in Belgium.

Verstappen was 11th on the grid due to an engine penalty but his record at Spa is excellent and all his rivals expected him to challenge for the win.

The Dutchman made it up to fifth on the track - and fourth in the final standings after George Russell's heartbreaking disqualification - but never looked in contention to win.

Team-mate Sergio Perez, in what some thought would be his final race for Red Bull before his racing future was assured yesterday, was second on the grid but buckled under the pressure and went backwards, crossing the line down in eighth.
