KRISHNAN Guru-Murphy says he has fallen in love with showbusiness thanks to the Strictly Come Dancing TV show and tour.
The Channel 4 newsreader is now open to a new career path, three decades after the BBC made him choose between working in current affairs or light entertainment.
He says: "The head of news at the BBC called me in one day and said: 'Make a decision. Do you want to be Bruce Forsyth or Jeremy Paxman? You can't do both. And it's taken 30 years but I can prove them wrong.
