Axed striker delivers win for Carrick in his 100th game as a boss

IT'S LATTE TIME

EMMANUEL LATTE LATH delivered the perfect response to being dropped by Michael Carrick by coming off the bench to give his boss a win in his 100th game as a manager.

The striker had only been on the pitch three minutes when he netted just his second goal of the season to earn Boro a much-needed boost after two defeats.

Carrick (right) lost patience with his lead striker and handed Tommy Conway a chance up front.
