JAMIE GEORGE has urged his England side to follow in the footsteps of Gareth Southgate's Lions and make history tomorrow.

Head coach Steve Borthwick rejigged his side's schedule so the squad could watch their footballing counterparts beat Holland 2-1 in the semi-finals of the Euros on Thursday.

The team viewed the match, which kicked off at 7am in New Zealand, in their squad room at their Auckland hotel before jumping on the bus for training.

On the half-hour journey, to North Harbour, Marcus Smith was in charge of the playlist and the speakers blared out 'Southgate You're the One' as England prepared for their own day of destiny with the All Blacks at Eden Park.
