STILL reeling from her own double cancer blow, Sarah Ferguson will know exactly what anguish the King is going through after his diagnosis.

And the Duchess of York urged Charles to keep battling on as the pair support each other through their respective ordeals.

They have already exchanged heartfelt letters. The 75-year-old King first reached out to Fergie, 64, after she was diagnosed with breast cancer last July.

He wrote to her again when she was dealt another blow as doctors told her after Christmas she had a deadly form of skin cancer.

A source said: "The King and Sarah are incredibly fond of one another and have bonded over their respective cancer diagnoses with an exchange of letters.
