Having visited Paul in his dreams for years, the Princess has now taken to dropping in on the mock Tudor mansion he shares with husband Graham Cooper, her ex-aide claims.
The spooky revelations came as the couple threw open their doors to the ghost hunters of Celebrity Help! My House is Haunted on discovery+.
Paul, 65, and lawyer Graham, 64, called in the show's Ian Lawman, Jayne Harris and Barri Ghai to probe paranormal goings-on. Paul says he was shocked to hear Diana's giggle and her saying "Sorry" and "France" on the trio's EVP [electronic voice phenomena] recorder at his Cheshire home.
The Princess died aged 36 in a road accident in Paris in 1997.
